SAPP
SAPP is an economical quick-acting dispersant for freshwater low weight drilling fluids. It is generally used to reduce bit balling and to treat cement contamination in conjunction with Sodium Bicarbonate. SAPP can be further used to reduce viscosity, break gel strengths down, and control calcium increases.
Application
SAPP additions for cement contamination will vary on the amount of cement drilled out and its rigidity.
Advantages
- Effective in preventing/reducing bit balling
- Control viscosity and gel strengths in the active system
- Additional means of treating cement and calcium contamination
